Jameel played a vital role to win the CWC '07  

Male', MALDIVES - National team and club Valencia’s defender Mohamed Jameel renews his contract with Valencia.

The former New radiant player renewed his contract today, Valencia’s sports director Mohamed Rasheed (Hiyalee) confirmed to maldivesoccer

“ Jameel agreed to play for the club even before and we gave some amount of money from his salary. But today he signed the official agreement.’ Hiyalee said

Hiyalee also confirmed Jameel signed on a two year contract and said that he signed for an additional 30,000 for each year, more than what Valencia proposed.

Jameel’s next year’s salary has been given in advance and the other year’s (2009) salary will run on monthly basis.

VB also tried to get Jameel for next season, but following Jameel’s refusal to agree to VB’s terms the deal fell through.

Jameel also got offers from VB Sports and New Radiant which he turned down.

previously he has played for New Radiant, IFC and Hurriyyaa.
